Serial Scaling LLC is committed to upholding ethical standards and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, including those related to child labor avoidance, anti-modern slavery, anti-human trafficking and inclusive workplace for indigenous people, LGBTQ2S+, and ethnic minority people in the United States.

1. Child Labor Avoidance:

Serial Scaling LLC is committed to upholding ethical standards and ensuring the well-being of children. We strictly prohibit the use of child labor in any form within our operations or supply chains. Our policy on child labor avoidance includes the following principles:

  • We comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to child labor, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) in the United States.
  • We do not employ individuals under the legal working age defined by local laws and regulations.
  • We conduct thorough due diligence on our suppliers and contractors to ensure they do not engage in child labor practices.
  • We provide training and awareness programs to our employees and suppliers to recognize and report any suspected instances of child labor.
  • Any violations of this policy will result in immediate corrective action, including termination of business relationships with suppliers or contractors found to be involved in child labor.
2. Anti-Modern Slavery:

Serial Scaling LLC is committed to preventing modern slavery in all its forms, including forced labor, bonded labor, and servitude. Our policy on anti-modern slavery includes the following principles:

  • We strictly prohibit the use of forced or compulsory labor in any aspect of our operations or supply chains.
  • We conduct risk assessments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities to modern slavery within our organization and supply chains.
  • We engage with suppliers and contractors to ensure they have policies and procedures in place to prevent modern slavery and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • We provide training and resources to our employees and suppliers to understand and address the risks of modern slavery.
  • We encourage transparency and accountability in our supply chains, including the disclosure of efforts to combat modern slavery.
  • Any reports or suspicions of modern slavery will be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate action will be taken, including termination of business relationships with suppliers or contractors found to be involved.
3. Anti-Human Trafficking:

Serial Scaling LLC is committed to combatting human trafficking, a heinous crime that violates human rights and dignity. Our policy on anti-human trafficking includes the following:

  • Compliance with Laws: We adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding modern slavery and human trafficking. This includes but is not limited to the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) and the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act.
  • We prohibit all forms of human trafficking, including recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring, or receipt of persons by means of threat, force, coercion, fraud, or deception.
  • We provide training and awareness programs to our employees and stakeholders to recognize the signs of human trafficking and report any suspected instances.
  • We collaborate with law enforcement agencies, non-governmental organizations, and industry partners to identify and address human trafficking risks within our operations and supply chains.
  • We support victims of human trafficking by providing access to appropriate resources and assistance.
  • Any reports or suspicions of human trafficking will be promptly investigated, and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with legal requirements and our internal policies.
4. Inclusive Workplace for Indigenous People, LGBTQ2S+, and Ethnic Minority People:

Serial Scaling LLC is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where all individuals are treated with respect, dignity, and equality. Our policy on creating an inclusive workplace for indigenous people, LGBTQ2S+, and ethnic minority people includes the following principles:

  • We prohibit discrimination, harassment, or prejudice based on race, ethnicity, nationality, indigenous status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law.
  • We promote diversity and inclusion through recruitment, hiring, and advancement practices that prioritize merit and talent regardless of background.
  • We provide training and resources to our employees to foster cultural competence, sensitivity, and awareness of diverse perspectives.
  • We create a safe and supportive environment where employees are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work without fear of discrimination or retaliation.
  • We actively seek opportunities to engage with indigenous communities, LGBTQ2S+ organizations, and ethnic minority groups to understand their unique needs and perspectives and ensure their voices are heard.
  • We regularly review our policies, practices, and programs to identify and address barriers to inclusion and diversity within our organization.
